Little Hannah has broken her plate of cookies for Santa, injuring her tiny finger.  After the required bandage, a kiss from Santa makes it better, of course..

Santa is 32" and Hannah is 16 inches, both partial sculpts with soft sculpt bodies over rod armatures.  Notice the tears in Hannah's eyes and on her cheek. 

Santa wears a sumptuous silk velvet suit, trimmed with recycled rabbit fur, over red flannel long underwear and stockings.  His belt and boots are leather.  Little Hannah's dressed in soft flannel pajamas with tiny lace trim.  she holds her security blanket close.

The stool on which Santa sits was purchased then reconstructed to fit the presentation of the piece.  The "broken" glass plat was cut, then milled on the sharp edges to prevent cuts from the glass.  The cookies are from clay.  Santa's bag is overflowing with delightful toys, gifts and greenery.  On Santa's left, a small handmade tractor pulls a wagon filled with greenery.  A handmade and painted wooden soldier stands nearby
